The Group\u2019s governance is based on a solid and diverse Board of Directors, composed of members from different age groups and with a balanced gender representation, ensuring a range of skills and a well-informed decision-making process. In 2024, attention to transparency and integrity was further strengthened through dedicated training activities on whistleblowing, with 25 hours of training delivered and the dissemination of informational materials aimed at promoting greater internal awareness on the topic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lilt-Pigiama Run Genova<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Group supported the charity run organized by LILT Genova (Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer), dedicated to children from the Gaslini Pediatric Institute, which involved nearly 700 participants, including some Boero employees. The event, held in a festive atmosphere, raised \u20ac9,860 to support pediatric oncology research and care projects, confirming the Boero Group\u2019s commitment to supporting the local community and the most vulnerable people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bricolage del Cuore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Through its Boero Fai da te brand, the Boero Group took part in the solidarity initiative \u201cBricolage del Cuore\u201d, promoted by Leroy Merlin in Milan, contributing to the redevelopment of the youth space Baroni85 in the Gratosoglio district. The project involved over 250 people, including employees, volunteers, and citizens, with the aim of improving community spaces. Boero supported the initiative by donating products for the renovation of both indoor and outdoor areas, confirming its commitment to generating a positive impact on the local area and fostering inclusion and social well-being.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Genova Global Goals Award<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Boero Group took part as a sponsor in the Genova Global Goals Award 2024 \u2013 Blue Edition, an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Genoa within the framework of the United Nations 2030 Agenda Sustainable Development Goals. The project involves institutions, companies, and schools with the aim of improving the quality of life and the environment in the area. Boero will contribute by providing materials for the realization of the winning projects, confirming its commitment to sustainable development and the local community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emozione Creativa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Boero Group participated in the \u201cEmozione Creativa\u201d event, held in Genoa on the occasion of World Colour Day, dedicated to creativity, innovation, and sustainability. The initiative involved students and professionals from creative sectors, offering training and networking opportunities. Boero contributed with the workshop \u201cPositive Impact Colour\u201d and took part in the conference dedicated to the strategic role of colour, confirming its commitment to promoting colour culture and sustainable practices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Challenges and objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We want to maintain and improve our connection with the territory, actively contributing to the transformation of urban centres in sustainable cities, especially by reducing negative impacts on the environment and improving safe, inclusive public spaces and the preservation of the shared artistic and cultural heritage. As a matter of fact, beauty has as a natural consequence, a greater respect for the places where people live, a greater care of common areas and therefore contributes to increase the spirit of belonging to their cities, stimulating positive behaviour in them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
